About the Artist

Lester T. Nielsen was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1950, the seventh of nine children. He was naturally "gifted" in the field of art, and throughout his early years received numerous art awards and honors. He graduated top in his class in art and received a scholarship in commercial art.

Marriage and family caused him to pursue other avenues and vocations which seemed to lend themselves better to those early "family years."

Now, after 35 years pursuing art on only a part time basis, he has finally become a full time artist and has resumed the first love of his life.
